01. Frascati, Italy – March 2025 – An important meeting, promoted by the Salesian Villa Sora and focused on children’s rights and the promotion of hope for future generations, took place in Frascati on 21 March, and featured Salesian Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, and Dr Paolo Ruffini, Prefect of the Holy See’s Dicastery for Communication.
02. Córdoba, Argentina – March 2025 – The Salesian Family celebrated he 120th anniversary of Don Bosco’s work in the city with great joy and emotion. The event took place at the Pius X school, where the first Salesians arrived and settled in 1905.
03. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – March 2025 – On 20 March, the opening ceremony of the National Salesian Games was held, an event that brings together young athletes from all over the country. The ceremony was presided over by the President of the Dominican Republic, Hon. Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona, who received a personalised Games T-shirt, with the number 90, in memory of the 90th anniversary of the Salesian presence in the country.
04. Quetta, Pakistan – March 2025 – The Don Bosco Learning Centre in Quetta celebrated 23 years of existence and dedication to education. To celebrate the event, the students and teachers of the Don Bosco Learning Centre organised a wonderful programme, and a new skills centre for women and young people was inaugurated by Fr Tahir Satar, parish priest of St Pius X parish.
05. Lusaka Zambia – March 2025 – On 29 March the Association of Salesian History Enthusiasts (ACSSA) seminar for Africa-Madagascar conclud the first of five continental seminars planned for this year to mark the 150th anniversary of the first Salesian Missionary Expedition. The main theme of the seminar was «The Salesian Mission in Africa. Before and after Project Africa (1891-2020)”.
06. Zagreb, Croatia – March 2025 – The Salesian Family in Croatia gathered on 30 March to celebrate the SF Day 2025, attended by about 170 people from five different groups in the country: Salesians, FMA, ASC, ADMA, Past Pupils, as well as sympathisers from different parts of Croatia, Žepče (BiH) and Subotica (Serbia).
07. Mogliano Veneto, Italy – March 2025 – The SYM Meeting took place on Sunday 30 March at the Salesian College Astori in Mogliano Veneto, a day of celebration and formataion dedicated to middle school students. The meeting involved about 1400 participants, coming from the works run by the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in the Triveneto, as well as from numerous parishes in the area.
08. Cayambe, Ecuador – March 2025 – The 25th anniversary of the Clínica Maternidad Mitad del Mundo was commemorated on 28 March in Cayambe,. The Salesian institution has touched the lives of thousands of women, children and families, providing quality care and supporting the community with dedication and commitment.
