Salesians in the Central Italy Circumscription (ICC), entitled \u2018Alice attraverso lo schermo\u2019 (Alice through the screen), has begun: an image education project dedicated to nursery and primary schools, promoted by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Merit, and coordinated by the Salesian Cultural Centre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dd24c24 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"dd24c24\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Children as chief agents in an educational journey<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f1262aa e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f1262aa\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-985da5d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"985da5d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The project, taking place across Lazio, Tuscany and Liguria, will run until the end of May 2026 and involves over 3,000 pupils aged between 3 and 10 from 22 school clusters. A journey aimed at \u2018going beyond the screen\u2019 and exploring the world of cinema through screenings, formation activities and workshops, designed to stimulate the discovery of emotions and promote empathy, inclusion and creativity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c76cd2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8c76cd2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The aim is to develop children\u2019s personal identity, their sensitivity towards others and their social skills, through the principles of emotional education and the mindful use of digital media. The films in the programme explore themes such as inclusion, friendship, courage, self-discovery and finding one\u2019s place in the world, the value of collaboration, and respect for nature and the environment.<\/p><p>Furthermore, thanks to collaboration with psychologists specialising in children\u2019s emotional and cognitive education, new crucial issues will also be addressed, such as awareness of new digital languages and the fight against bullying.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e46db88 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e46db88\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The significance of the project<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f640384 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f640384\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u2018Alice Through the Screen\u2019 aims to make students more conscious viewers and provide them with essential tools to become creators of new content themselves. Cinema, therefore, is understood here not only as a tool for formation and interpreting the present, but also as a means of discovery and deeper understanding.<\/p><p>\u201cThe \u2018Alice Through the Screen\u2019 project, in line with Don Bosco\u2019s Preventive Educational System, aims to guide young people in experiencing the world of images and media as a space for growth, awareness and
